Five bidders have been shortlisted to buy Leeds Bradford airport, ahead of a preferred bidder being selected next week. The airport is expected to fetch between £120m and £130m. Financial Times

On the shortlist are a consortium headed by Balfour Beatty, which recently bought Exeter airport for £60m; TBI, which is mainly owned by Abertis of Spain and has interests in Luton, Cardiff and Belfast airports; ABN Amro; Barclays Private Equity; and Bridgepoint.
