Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed former Sainsbury’s and Boots property director Peter Baguley to lead a new initiative which will provide corporate real estate advice to retailers.
Baguley will work with the JLL retail agency and capital market teams to provide advice to retailers on how to reduce costs and add value to their property portfolios.
He will spearhead the initiative, working with JLL head of retail in England Guy Grainger and chairman of retail in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Chris Powell.
Grainger said: “Peter Baguley is one of best known figures in the retail business. His work will help to establish a market leading position for Jones Lang Lasalle in the area of corporate advice for retailers, and will add to the success already achieved in other sectors."
