Stoford Developments has got the green light for the £75m All Saints office development in West Bromwich in the Midlands.

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council granted outline planning approval for the 245,000 sq ft first phase of the 270,000 sq ft scheme, which has been designed by Glenn Howells Architects.

The development will be built in collaboration with the council, local regeneration company RegenCo, and Advantage West Midlands, which has invested £14m in the project.

The council has also approved the detailed planning application for a six-storey, 120,000 sq ft building that is already let to BT Liberata. The plans also include new pedestrian and cycle links and a retail development anchored by a Tesco Extra.

Jon Andrews, Stoford Director, said: 'We will now be able to press ahead with creating a landmark office development that will regenerate West Bromwich as a prime business location.’

Cllr Bob Badham, Sandwell's Cabinet Member for Regeneration, said: 'It's an absolute necessity that we get high-quality office accommodation as part of the overall regeneration of West Bromwich together with the jobs it will create.’
