Center Parcs has won its planning appeal to build a new holiday village at Warren Wood in Bedfordshire, near junction 13 of the M1. The Sunday Times

The planning process had taken three years and cost the company £1.5m, and will add a new site to the four existing UK resorts. The last one was added in 2002 when Center Parcs bought the rival Oasis village from Rank.

Martin Dalby, the boss of the holiday company, said:‘The real step-change in the growth of Center Parcs will come from the fifth site. It will be worth £70m per annum in revenues for us.’
