A £64m conversion of the former Royal Mail Sorting office into student facilities for Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has been approved by Liverpool City Council.
The student scheme will form part of one of the city’s flagship projects, Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ), where more than £1bn of new developments are underway.

Manchester based Barton Willmore submitted the planning application having been appointed by Faithful+Gould and working alongside Sheppard Robson, Cundall and WSP.
