Grosvenor has appointed Roger Blundell as finance director of its Great Britain and Ireland division.

The appointment comes after Richard Handley, the current finance director for the division, announced that he was to leave the company earlier in the year.

Blundell will join Grosvenor in December and become a member of the Great Britain and Ireland board in the first quarter of next year. Based in London and with a team of 50 people under him, Blundell will report to Great Britain and Ireland chief executive officer Mark Preston.

Blundell has previously worked for BSkyB and Kingfisher and joins from loan and mortgage company Kensington Group.

Preston said: ‘In Roger we have a very talented individual who brings experience from sectors other than property, including the financial services sector and retail.’

Handley will leave Grosvenor in spring next year.
