Henry Boot Developments has outlined plans to redevelop the former Imperial Tobacco production site in Nottingham into an enlarged industrial scheme incorporating 500,000 sq ft of new logistics buildings.
The 48-acre site, acquired by HBD last summer, had been home to Imperial Tobacco’s UK production and distribution facility from the 1960s until production moved overseas in 2016.
As part of HBD’s proposed ‘New Horizon’ redevelopment, the firm will improve the retained distribution warehouse that is still used by Imperial Tobacco as well as create a multi-use 28 acre industrial estate at the south of the site.
