Henry Boot Developments has bought 16 acres in Rotherham for a mixed-use development.

The canalside site is next to Parkgate retail park in Rotherham and has planning consent for 100,000 sq ft of retail and 90,000 sq ft of industrial space.


Northfields Retail and Business Park
Henry Boot will name the scheme, which will sit next to Retail World shopping centre at Parkgate, Northfields Retail and Business Park.

Northfields will be the first major retail scheme to be undertaken in Rotherham for over 10 years.


Summer 2008
Henry Boot has already begun discussions with national retailers, and it hopes that construction work will commence on site in spring or summer 2008.
