Hermes and Prupim have submitted a joint planning application for the start of a £20m redevelopment programme at the Centre:MK shopping centre in Milton Keynes.

The partners have submitted an application for the £10m redevelopment of Queens Court, a public open square.

The redevelopment includes the creation of 18,000 sq ft of restaurant space split into four equal sized units.

Jon Weymouth, development manager at Prupim said: ‘Our proposals for Queens Court are the first of a series of enhancements we have planned for this year.’

If approved, the redevelopment is expected to start before the end of the year and complete in the summer 2009.
