UK property advisor Humberts is to open its first international offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The firm announced the openings today alongside the appointment of Walter Hart as managing director for Humberts International, its newly formed wing responsible for the offices. Hart, a well-known agent in the Middle East has worked for various property firms including Dubai based Better Homes where he was a director.

The expansion is the first for the firm, which has 44 offices in the UK, since it was bought by Chesterton owner Salah Mussa’s Mercantile Group for £3.16m in July.

The firm said in a statement: ‘Whilst many estate agencies are closing branches, Humberts is demonstrating the company’s confidence in the marketplace by expanding into new markets.’
