Infinity Asset Management, the Manchester-based private equity house, has launched a £100m property fund and hired a former Ask Developments director.

Infinity, which launched in February 2007, has launched a £100m fund to target residential and commercial developments with a value of between £5m and £25m.

It has appointed Les Lang, a former managing director and founder of residential development company Abito, a subsidiary of Ask Developments, as fund manager.

Daniel Finestein, managing partner at Infinity, said: ‘Les has a wealth of experience across the property sector and will bring a unique strategic perspective to the venture.’

Finestein added: ‘The property fund will undertake both development and investment projects, with a real commitment to innovation and sustainability.’

Lang joins Infinity’s three founder partners, Daniel Finestein, Sarah Butler and Phil Vickers, and his appointment brings the Infinity team to ten people.
