Mark Chamieh and James Green have joined JER Partners as managing directors.

The pair will share responsibility for raising capital and building and managing capital raising teams for JER’s private equity funds globally.

Chamieh will join in May, as tipped in Property Week (28.03.08) and Green joined in March. They report to Michael Pralle, president and chief operating officer of JER.

JER has made the appointments as part of its strategy to grow considerably over the next few years.

Significant period

Pralle said: ‘JER is beginning a significant period of accelerated growth with an expanded geographic reach and greater diversity of investment vehicles.’

Chamieh joins from UBS, where he was head of global business development. Green joins from Citigroup Property Investors, where he was global head of marketing and client relations.

JER has also appointed Dwight Arnesen as managing director, US fund investment management. Arnesen joins from Starwood Capital Group, where he was managing director of acquisitions.
