Kent County Council, in partnership with Thanet District Council, has launched a search for a development partner for a mixed use scheme in Margate.
The council is looking for a partner to create a mixed use development at its ‘Rendezvous’ site in Margate on the sea front.
It has appointed Donaldsons to find a developer for the site which will sit next to the proposed Turner Contemporary art gallery to the west of the scheme.
The gallery is due to open in 2010, and the initial phases of proposed mixed use development on the site will be delivered within a similar timeframe.
Initial expressions of interest will be submitted by the end of June 2007.
