Keren Homes and subsidiary Keren Homes Birmingham have both gone into administration.

KPMG was appointed administrator on 6 October.

The two housing companies are the latest residential casualties of the crunch.

Keren Homes Birmingham was placed into administration by Bank of Ireland, its main lending bank on a development project in Birmingham.

The companies were set up in 2005.
