Ask chief Ken Knott was named north west property personality of the year in front of 1,200 people in Liverpool last night.
Knott, who sold a stake in Ask to Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds in late 2006, won the award at the first dinner event to be held at the new BT Convention Centre in Liverpool, European City of Culture 2008.
The Duke of Westminster was Guest of Honour at the ceremony, with Liverpool One, the mixed use scheme to be opened by his Grosvenor group in May named Regeneration Project of the year.
The awards were organised by Property Week in association with English Partnerships.
Seventeen trophies were awarded to the best of the industry including Maghull for Up & Coming Property Firm of the Year and Ask Developments which took home both Newcomer and Personality of the Year – Stephen Cliff and Ken Knott respectively.
