Chris King, UK managing director of London & Regional, has left the company

It is understood he left during the summer.

King, who worked at the company for eight years, is now assessing a number of options for his next step.

Richard Livingstone, joint founder of London & Regional, will remain executive chairman. His brother and fellow joint founder, Ian Livingstone, will remain responsible for non-UK assets.

It is thought London & Regional plans several purchases to take advantage of the recession in both the UK and overseas.

The shrewd investor is experienced in taking advantage of depressed property markets and successfully bought assets during the last recession.

London & Regional refused to comment on King’s departure or the business’s structure.
