London Crossrail opening postponed for nine months

Transport for London has announced that the opening of the central London section of the Elizabeth ‎Line has been postponed by nine months until autumn 2019.

The section of ‎the line between Paddington and Abbey Wood had initially been set to open in December this year, but has been delayed because more time was needed to complete safety tests and fit out the tunnels.
