North West based Bridge Properties has appointed an office fit out contractor to kick start its redevelopment of a Grade II listed Manchester building.

Office specialist Overbury will go on site to refurbish Rhodesia House, at 52 Princess St in Manchester, on 1 March.

The scheme, which has been refurbished by architect Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams, will create 32,700 sq ft of office accommodation.

Bridge Properties is courting media and creative occupiers for its scheme.

Paul McCann, director at Bridge Properties, said: ‘The combination of a prominent listed building and a design-led approach to creating exciting space will attract occupiers looking for something a little more interesting.’

The agents on the scheme are Matthews & Goodman and Canning O’Neill.
