Quinlan Private Golub has revealed its plans for its South City Regional shopping centre in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The 60,000 sq m shopping centre will begin construction in 2010, for opening in Q3 2012.

The project is located in the south of Bratislava, in the Petržalka district, which has a population of 125,000 people.

The scheme includes retail, leisure, offices and residential.

An EU funded tramline will provide a 10 minute link to the centre of Bratislava.

The scheme was unveiled at Mapic last night.

David Leonard, the architect for the project, said: ’It will be the stimulus for further development and as such it will be a catalyst for the regeneration of this key community of Bratislava. Its contemporary architecture will make it a great place to shop, work and live.’
