McArthurGlen is set to open its 18th designer outlet village in Salzburg on September 10th within 5 minutes of the W A Mozart Airport as part of the expansion over the German speaking regions of Europe.

The Salzburg outlet follows its first in Austria, in Vienna which opened in 1998.

The Salzburg outlet has 140 stores and is close to the city’s airport and close to the A1 Munich-Salzburg motorway and the A10 – the main connection to the Adriatic coastline.

Nearly nine million consumers live in the catchment area within a 120-minute drive of Salzburg Designer Outlet, with around 60% in Germany and the remaining 40% in Austria.

McArthurGlen is also planning a new outlet in Hamburg.
