Keir, a principal in Avison Young’s industrial and logistics team, died after contracting Covid-19. Keir’s family have extended an open invitation to the memorial service, which will be held on Thursday 9 September 2021 at 2.30pm at St Michael’s Church, Maidwell Road, Haselbech, Northampton, NN6 9LG, followed by a reception in Church Field until 7pm.

Jacqueline Keir, Peter Keir’s wife, said: “The family hope that you will be able to join them. If you could kindly let me know (jrkeir@btinternet.com) of your intention to attend it would be greatly appreciated for catering purposes. It is hoped that parking will be available in Church Field. However, if the weather conspires against us parking will be in the village. Haselbech is a very small hamlet so we would ask people to park considerately.

“While there are currently no government restrictions, please could you attend with a face mask should it be necessary to wear one inside the church on the day.”

Jacqueline Keir added that if anyone would like to make a charitable donation, they can do so on the link here: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SomeoneSpecial/PeterKeir

Peter Keir joined Avison Young in 2016 when the company acquired NRS and was a partner for 19 years. He trained at JLL and spent 26 years in the industry in total.

Jason Sibthorpe, UK president of Avison Young, said at the time of his death: “Peter was an inspiring, charismatic and caring leader within Avison Young and this is a tragic loss for us all. He gave knowledgeable, well-considered advice and always acted with total integrity, humility and humanity.”
