Mendonça becomes strategic land lead in shake-up at Grosvenor

Jorge Mendonca Grosvenor

The Duke of Westminster’s property group Grosvenor has appointed Jorge Mendonça as its head of strategic land following the departure of long-time senior figure Will Bax.

Bax has announced he is leaving Grosvenor in June to “explore other opportunities” after 13 years in a variety of senior roles at the group.

After his departure, Mendonça, moving across from his role as portfolio director for the London estate, will take over the remit to cover strategic land and new business development. Grosvenor has doubled its strategic land pipeline this year adding projects including Barton Park, one of the new NHS healthy towns and Trumpington Meadows.
