MHCLG seeks assurance from Liverpool council after arrests

The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) has written to Liverpool City Council asking for assurance of “effective governance” and information “relating to the development of the property” following the arrests of mayor Joe Anderson and other high-profile figures connected to the council.
