Mitsui Fudosan UK has appointed Hideto Yamada as its new managing director and will take over form Motomitsu Morimoto who will be returning to Tokyo.

Yamada will be joining Mitsui Fudosan UK from Mitsui Fudosan’s Tokyo head office and will begin on Monday. He was previously managing director of TID, a joint venture company with the Hong Leong Group in Singapore, and senior vice president of Mitsui Fudosan America, the group’s US arm. He joins Mitsui Fudosan UK following his role as executive manager at Mitsui Fudosan’s international department in Tokyo.

Reignited

Mitsui Fudosan UK has reignited and expanded its business in the UK during the last four years, buying a stake in Stanhope as well as buying properties including 20 Old Bailey and 5 Hanover Square. It is also in the process of recruiting additional professional staff to strengthen its London team.
