MPs back land value capture reform

Increases in land value should be shared with local communities, MPs have said in a new report on land value capture.

More infrastructure and affordable housing could be paid for if reforms were made to the way increases in land value, resulting from public policy decisions, were captured, the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee has concluded.
