Ian Gleeson, former head of property at the Irish National Pensions Reserve Fund (NPRF) of Ireland has been poached by Morley Fund Management to head up its international multi-manager property services.

Gleeson – who is also chair of INREV’s investor board, will take up his position from mid-May. He will report to Nick Mansley and will work alongside the indirect investment team to help to identify the best funds and approaches to indirect real estate investment.

Prior to working for the Irish NPRF, Gleeson was a director at F&C responsible for indirect property investment and strategy formulation for all property clients.

Nick Mansley, director of strategy and indirect investment, said: ‘The fact that we could attract Ian to Morley is great news for us and an indication of Morley’s growing international presence and reputation. At the NPRF Ian established the real estate investment programme deploying over E1bn in a range of investment vehicles across Europe, North America and Asia. He will further strengthen Morley’s capability to provide the best possible international property investment solutions to our clients.’
