Peel Land and Property Group has submitted plans to develop a retail and leisure outlet at Glasgow Harbour, making an initial investment of £100m.

The proposed Glasgow Harbour Lifestyle Outlet would span 350,000 sq ft and would comprise retail space, restaurants and cafes, a waterfront promenade, a new cinema, gym, family leisure facilities, a public square and events space.

In 2008, Peel secured planning permission in principle to redevelop the 74-acre site, which is located within the Clyde Waterfront Regeneration Programme and part of the Glasgow Harbour masterplan.
