Passion for Perfume, a retailer part owned by Modus chief Brendan Flood, has gone into administration.

Deloitte was appointed yesterday as administrator for the 45-store chain.

Brendan Flood, Nigel Tobias and James Michael Riddell owned the business which has a head office in Manchester.

Deloitte said the administration ‘follows challenging trading conditions and reduced consumer demand.’

Bill Dawson, reorganisation services partner at Deloitte, said: ‘We will continue to seek a buyer for the business and assets of the company but do not intend to trade the business.’
