Build-to-rent specialist Platform_ has submitted plans for a 500-apartment development as part of Harbert Management Corporation and XLB Property’s £100m project in Glasgow.
Platform_ bought the two-acre site on the River Clyde from Harbert Management Corporation and XLB Property in February after the latter secured planning permission for the wider Central Quay brownfield scheme.
Platform_ intends to start construction of the apartments, which will mark its debut Scottish development, by the second quarter of 2019, with a scheduled completion date of summer 2021 for the scheme at Broomielaw.
