Property shares have strong start to the week

Property companies on the FTSE 100 saw a strong start to the week with Landsec, Persimmon, Segro, Barratt Developments and British Land all among the top 20 performing listed companies over the day.

Landsec saw the biggest rise with its share price climbing 2.21% over the day as Permisson (0.95%), Segro (0.75%), Barratt Developments (0.75%), Taylor Wimpey (0.70% and British Land (0.66%) also saw gains.
