Evans Randall, the Mayfair-based private investment bank, has confirmed it has sold ABN Amro’s City of London headquarters to Prudential for £230m.

The deal, first tipped in Property Week on 30.03.07, reflected an initial yield of around 3.5% and is £46m more than it paid for the building at 250 Bishopsgate two years ago.

Prupim is buying the building because it offers a long-term, bond-like yield.

ABN Amro agreed a 30-year lease when it arranged its £184m sale and leaseback with Evans Randall in July 2005.

CB Richard Ellis advised Evans Randall.
