Prupim has secured planning permission phase one of the redevelopment on The Green, a 39 acre business park in Solihull.

Prupim plans a sustainable office park and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council approved the application as well as an illustrative masterplan for the whole site .

It also received permission for a range of elements of the scheme including detailed consent for three new office buildings between three and four storeys and outline proposals for fourteen buildings ranging from two to eight storeys.

William Rooke, development manager at Prupim, said: 'This will be the West Midlands’ foremost sustainable office park and represents a major opportunity to stimulate employment at an economically challenging time. The illustrative masterplan will generate 4900 new jobs, make a significant contribution to the delivery of the Council’s economic and development strategy and bring numerous benefits to the local community.'
