PricewaterhouseCoopers has signed a lease at Vivico Real Estate and OFB Projektentwicklung’s Skygarden office in Munich in one of the biggest letting deals in the city this year.

The professional services company has taken a pre-let of 188,374 sq ft at the joint venture’s scheme at Munich’s Arnulfpark.

PwC is believed to have agreed a letting of more than 10 years at a rent of about €20/sq ft (£15.50/sq ft).

PwC will relocate 700 staff from its current Munich base on Elsenheimer Strasse when the new office is completed in 2011.

The Bothe Richter Teherani-designed Skygarden comprises 355,220 sq ft of office space. It also includes 800 flats, a hotel and a theatre.
