Question mark over Thorpe Park retail as £400m outline plans get approved

Leeds councillors have resolved to grant outline consent to Kevin McCabe’s Scarborough Group International for a £400m expansion of Thorpe Park in east Leeds, but have deferred their decision on the retail element of the business park extension to concerns from city centre businesses including Hammerson.
