Developer Minerva has sold its controversial Kensington Odeon site to a private development fund, which plans to progress with approved plans for a mixed-use redevelopment.
The redevelopment proposals for the 1.2 acre site, which include the demolition of the original cinema building to be replaced by a residential-led scheme, were revised following a campaign backed by celebrities including Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, Richard Curtis and Sir John Hurt.
