Developer Reef Estates has gained planning permission for a 900,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme next to Argent’s King’s Cross redevelopment in north London.
Reef has proposed to convert the former Royal Mail building known as the ‘Ugly Brown Building’ into six new buildings, including a new headquarters for fashion retailer Ted Baker, which owns three freeholds on the site. Reef has also partnered with British Airways Pension Fund which owns the other three freeholds on the triangular site.
