The developer got the go-ahead for a new residential development at the Greengate site in Salford, Greater Manchester from Salford City Council last night.

Construction is due to begin on ‘Canopus Greengate’, which will consist of two towers of 31 and 47 storeys, containing 403 apartments and a pool and spa complex, in January 2008.
