Sheffield City investment fund completes first cycle

The SCR Jessica Fund has completed its first cycle of investment and is reinvesting £25.5m into the Sheffield City region.

Initially launched in 2013 with £22m of capital from the European Regional Development Fund and Growing Places and then benefiting from significant capital investment by the Sheffield City Region, Jessica aims to provide capital for projects at competitive commercial lending rates where ‘traditional’ funding sources are proving difficult.
