German company Hochtief Projektentwicklung has agreed a long-term pre-lease contract with Siemens Real Estate to develop a new office building in Düsseldorf.

The 11,400 sq m building will be located in Düsseldorf's Airport City, and will be the base for Siemens' sales and administrative activities.

It is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010 and will accommodate around 600 employees.

The five-story building is being constructed by Hochtief Projektentwicklung, a subsidiary of the Hochtief Group, on a more than 9,000 sq m site on Klaus-Bungert-Strasse, directly next to the Porsche Center.

Apart from office premises, it will also house training rooms and conference areas and will have an underground garage for 220 vehicles.
