St Modwen has received planning permission for the development of six retail units at its Norton Park District Centre in Stoke-on-Trent.

The units will range from 1,000 sq ft and 4,000 sq ft and will be developed in addition to an existing Aldi store and Martsons pub. Development will start after lettings for the units have been secured.

The district centre forms part of a wider development – St Modwen’s Norton Park which consists of 700 homes and 50 acres of open space.

Euan Lindsay, development manager at St Modwen said: ‘The district Centre is being developed to serve both the existing and major new residential areas as part of the regeneration of the 100-acre former Norton Colliery.’

Letting agents for the scheme are Ramsdens and Louis Taylor.
