Peter Williams, chief executive of the airport retail operator and airline caterer Alpha Airports, has agreed a tie-up with coffee seller Starbucks. Daily Telegraph
Former Selfridges chief executive Williams aims to improve customers’ experience of airports. He said: 'Flying used to be glamorous. Now it’s all too often a pain.'
Alpha has outlets in regional airports such as Manchester and Birmingham, and is to run several airport-based Starbucks, the first of which will open in Jersey in October.
