Stockport development group appoints interim chairman following death of Lord Kerslake

The Stockport Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) has announced that Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s (GMCA’s) chief executive Eamonn Boylan will take up the role of interim chairman at the organisation following the death of Lord Kerslake earlier this month.

Prior to his role at GMCA, Boylan was chief executive of Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council for six years and began Stockport’s programme of regeneration.
