Peter Trinder, director of NB Real Estate’s markets division, is leaving to join a new property services venture set up by former DTZ staff.

Trinder will join Simon Hall, Neil Proctor, Rob Senior, John Guise, David Cuthbert and Kevin Hawthorn who resigned from DTZ last month. They were members of Hodnett Martin Smith, the West End firm which DTZ bought in 2005.

‘After ten great years at NB I’ve decided to seize the opportunity to join this new venture,’ said Trinder. ‘At this stage of my career, it feels like the right move to make - I'd like to be part of building up a specialist business.’

Mikel Hatt, chief executive of NB Real Estate said: ‘Clients increasingly want to buy services from specialists providers so I respect his decision to seek a fresh challenge in a specialist investment practice’.

NB Real Estate’s central London investment team comprises 12 people. Alan Dornford, head of the markets division, plans to recruit new people to the team.
