Westmount veteran King joins Mayfair Capital to lead thematic growth fund

Swiss Life-owned UK investment manager Mayfair Capital has appointed Westmount co-founder Giles King as fund manager for its UK Thematic Growth Fund.

King, a former head of EMEA investor relations at CBRE Global Investors, will be responsible for leading the strategy and acquisitions for the closed-end fund, which has so far raised and invested £100m of equity ahead of an expected final close of £250m.
