Leading property expert Dr Edward Wojakovski is gearing up to judge the Property Week and Bank of Scotland Search for a Property Entrepreneur.

With little over two weeks left before the deadline for entries, your business could be closing in on £10million interest free funding.

Wojakovski and his father-in-law, Arthur Matyas, own Tonstate a large international owner, operator, developer and manager of real estate.

Among their portfolio is the Hilton London Metropole and the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotels, which were bought by him in 2006 for a total of £500m, and are the largest business conference hotels in Europe.

Speaking about the competition he said: ‘I expect the £10million funding to be an amazing spring board to success for the winning entrepreneur.

‘I think the competition will be tough and the winning property entrepreneur should have an intrinsically honest mind, focused astuteness in approach and the ability to calculate risk and evaluate reward.

‘The winner needs to know how to see the wood from the trees and will have a razor sharp business mind.’

Ray Robertson, Bank of Scotland’s head of real estate for England & Wales added: ‘Dr Edward Wojakovski is one of the most respected people in the property industry and I have no doubt his experience and skills will make him an excellent judge of applicants in the Search.

‘I’m hoping that the region’s entrepreneurs will take on his advice and find the whole application process rewarding – helping shape and refine their business plans.’

To make sure you are in with a chance of winning you must submit your entry before June 9.
