Landlords take note: an agent selling a five-bed house managed to take over the internet last week after she pulled together a video tour of the property, singing about it to the tune of 1980s hit ‘Never Ending Story’.

“There’s so much here to seeee,” she sang – including an office, five bedrooms, a garden, a hot tub and most notably a dog-grooming room. “Air-source heat pump fitted and solar panels, too,” continued Claire Cossey, an estate agent and reportedly a former nightclub singer, invoking a mix of cringe and wonder as she toured the £700,000 house.

“There is so much you can do, the never-ending property, ahhhhh.”

The ‘never-ending house’ in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, may appear at first unremarkable, but hundreds of thousands of people have since viewed the property on Rightmove.

Such success might indicate that it won’t be long until commercial property owners are following suit, singing about ESG credentials and modern office amenities. Or maybe not.
