Raise a glass and remember the good times! After five years and an unknown number of pints, Property Eye’s favourite watering hole closed its doors on Sunday after deciding not to extend its lease at Boxpark Croydon.
The Cronx, famed for its craft beer and back-to-basics interior, was the venue of choice for Eye’s editorial team – particularly news and finance editor Mitchell Labiak (pictured) – after putting the magazine to bed on a Wednesday evening. Whether they were celebrating (or drowning their sorrows…), The Cronx always had the right tipple for the occasion.
But it’s not all bad news. The Cronx is now looking for a new venue in Croydon. So if any agents reading this would like to negotiate a lease for them, get in touch and we will forward your deets.
