Leeds City Council unanimously backed developer CEG’s plans to create a £350m mixed-use scheme on an 8.69- acre South Bank site in the city.

CEG’s hybrid planning application outlined plans for two office developments with ground-floor retail and leisure totalling up to 281,000 sq ft and outline planning permission for mixed-use development of up to 1.1m sq ft and up to 750 new homes, along with new public spaces and landscaping.

The development built on CEG’s work in the city which includes the £400m brownfield regeneration scheme at Kirkstall Forge.
