Assura revenue up, but profit falls

Healthcare property group Assura has posted a 2.7% fall in profit despite a 9.5% rise in rental income to £36.5m for the six months to the end of September.

Pre-tax profit fell from £37.4m at the same point last year to £36.4m, but the group did post a 7.7% in earnings per share to 1.4p, and a 1.7% rise in annual rent roll to £104.4m.
