Goodman has hooked Prowell, a German cardboard manufacturer, to take a 210,000 sq ft industrial unit in the north west’s largest deal this year.
Prowell has taken a 15 year lease on Pioneer 210 at Goodman’s Ellesmere Port scheme in Cheshire, as tipped by Property Week (26.09.08).
The deal marks Prowell’s first venture into the UK.
Simon Williams of Goodman Logistics said: ‘Despite the challenging conditions, it’s great to see there is still a certain level of demand in the occupier market.’
Paul Lavelle of Prowell commented: ‘Goodman were aware of the urgency of the requirement and were very accommodating to all of our needs, they ensured it ran without a single hitch.’
Goodman owns 21 sites in the UK, including at Crewe, Bristol and Andover
